Timor Lesté & AU Relationship
Representatives from the Embassy of Timor Leste and Honorable Guests Visited Assumption University of Thailand during Many Important Occasions.
- Last year, on December 22, 2020, Ms. Elisa Da Silva, Counseler and Chargé D’ Affaires, Ms. Prisca Santos Pires, Technical Administrative Officer and Mr. Tadeu Marcelino Soares, First Secretary from the Embassy of Timor Lesté in Bangkok visited the AU President - Rector Magnificus, Rev. Bro. Dr. BanchaSaenghiran, to greet him, and the University on the occasion of Christmas 2020 and the New Year 2021.
- On December 16, 2019, a team of officials led by Ms. Maria Filomena Lay, Director General, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Culture (MESCC), Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, visited Assumption University. A visiting team also met with the students and was welcomed by Rev. Bro. Dr. BanchaSaenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus and a group of AU executives.
- On April 27, 2013, H.E. Mr. Bendito Freitas, Minister of Education, Timor-Leste visited Assumption University, Suvarnabhumi Campus. A visiting team was welcomed by Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip Martin Komolmas, AU President Emeritus and Rev. Bro. Dr. BanchaSaenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus.
- On December 18, 2013, The Conferral Ceremony of Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy Honoris Causa on His Excellency Jose Ramos-Horta Under-Secretary-General Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General Head of the UN Integrated Peace Building Mission in Guinea-Bissau (West Africa)
