On January 13, 2022, the Department of Finance, MSME Business School, Assumption University has been certified as the education provider by the Thai Financial Planners Association (TFPA). The certification allows the School to provide Certified Financial Planner (CFP) training courses to the public. There are currently 5 certified academic service providers in Thailand, with Assumption University being the only university in the country.

Besides, the Department of Finance’s curriculum, the TFPA-certified curriculum is the equivalent of to the 6-module CFP training program required for individuals who wish to pursue a career in the financial planning.
