Covid-19 Case Screening and Vaccination Provision

The Faculty Members from the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, Assumption University were invited by the administrator of Rangsit University Vaccination Center to provide COVID-19 vaccines for the public on October 9, 10, 13, 16, and 23, 2021.

Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean; Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Associate Dean volunteered to inject COVID-19 vaccines to the public on October 10, 2021. The nursing faculty members including Dr. Supa Pudkasam, Dr. Onouma Thummapol, A. Napaswan Namboosri, A. Siraporn Silphipat, A. Piyanut Bangoen, and A. Temruthai Phupradit also participated in this activity.

COVID-19 Case Screening

The Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science in collaboration with Up for Thai Group (Tong Rod Group) set up the line group, entitled “Tong Rod Nurse” to categorize the groups of people getting COVID-19. The results of screening can be divided into three groups: green group (no signs and symptoms, can be observed at home); yellow group (mild illness, waiting to send cases to the hospital); and red group (need urgent treatment). The faculty members and the alumni of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science screened cases and coordinated with Tong Rod Group for further management. They also provided knowledge regarding COVID-19 and suggestions to the clients and their relatives. This project had been implemented during July to October 2021.
