WRITER: CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE AT ASSUMPTION UNIVERSITY

 

 

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed delegates from the Chinese International Education Foundation (CIEF) on Wednesday, aiming to foster stronger educational and cultural ties between Thailand and China. The visit was organized by the Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU).

The delegation included Prof. Yangwei, President of Chinese International Education Foundation (CIEF), Mr. Zhao Lingshan, Vice President and Secretary-General of CIEF, and Ms. Feng Junying, Education Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Thailand, accompanied by secretarial staff members.

The delegation was greeted by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President, and Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice President for Moral Development Education, The University Campus Ministry, in the King Room at the Suvarnabhumi Campus. This meeting is a continuation of the relationship between AU and CIEF after the Silk Road of Knowledge: Assumption University's China Expedition from October 8^th to 14^th,2023.

Bro. Khanchit Seesawan (ภราดาครรชิต สีสาวรรณ), Deputy Director of Assumption College Thonburi (ACT), also visited AU with his team and introduced the Chinese teaching situation of ACT to the guests.
