On the sunny morning of September 5th, 2023, a delightful group of 40 students from Assumption College Sriracha embarked on a culinary journey filled with fun and flavor organized by the Confucius Institute of Assumption University (CIAU). The day was made even more special with the esteemed presence of Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University, who was impressed by the students' creativity and enthusiasm.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the hands-on Chinese dumpling-making session. Under the expert guidance of CIAU teachers, our eager students delved into the art of dumpling creation from start to finish.
The culinary escapade began with the students learning how to make the perfect dumpling dough – a skill that proved to be the foundation of their delicious creations. Next came the exciting part – creating the delectable fillings, a blend of flavors and textures that captured the essence of Chinese cuisine. With deft hands, the students rolled out the dumpling wrappers, forming the canvas upon which their culinary dreams would be realized.
But the real magic happened when it was time to fold the dumplings. Laughter filled the room as students tried their hand at various folding techniques, each one more creative than the last. From traditional pleats to playful shapes, the students' imagination knew no bounds. Every dumpling was a work of art, showcasing not only their culinary skills but also their vibrant personalities.
