Louis Nobiron School of Music, led by the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pannawit Sanitnarathorn, welcomed a group of teacher and students from Assumption College Rayong who made a visit to the School and the University on June 17, 2022.
The students from Grade 7-12 who choose music as their study path had explored many music activities in the School of Music. The group attended a workshop in music production where students were asked to make simple tunes via studio equipment supervised by A. Jessada Chitrakorn and A. Suttikorn Tocharoenniwatsai, music production lecturers. The group also had a chance to explore the real harpsichord where Asst. Prof. Alberto Firrincieli, the renowned harpsichordist in Thailand gave a short demonstration on the historical music instrument and allowed some students to try it on. The Dean also gave a short presentation about the highlighted programme in music entrepreneurship, which enhances the opportunities for the artists today in the digital age to generate their revenues from music as indie artists and own their own labels sustainably.
