In an atmosphere of contemplative thought and open dialogue, the Graduate School of Human Sciences at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) hosted an inspiring seminar that has left a lasting impression on attendees. Dr. Hune Margulies, a distinguished figure in philosophical discourse, led the seminar titled "Dialogical and Existential Philosophy's and Their Connection to Zen Buddhism" on December 14, 2023.

Dr. Hune, a scholar of Martin Buber's Dialogical Philosophy and a poet of spiritual interconnectivity, led the discussion with passion and depth.

Dr. Hune’s academic journey includes a Ph.D from Columbia University and advanced degrees in Philosophy and Urbanism, shared his unique synthesis of Buber's dialogical approach with Zen Buddhist principles. As the founder of the Martin Buber Institute for Dialogical Ecology, his perspectives on the principle of relationship resonated deeply with attendees.

Assumption University is proud to have been the platform for such an enlightening exchange of ideas and philosophies. The community, enriched by this experience, looks forward to continuing the conversation and exploring the spaces where thought meets the spirit.

For those who wish to delve further into the works discussed, Dr. Margulies' book is available for purchase. It promises to extend the dialogue from the seminar into the personal meditations of its readers.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Margulies and to all who participated in this thought-provoking seminar.
