On 5th August 2023, The MBA class of international corporate strategy had the privilege of welcoming Khun Jacob Vichitthanaruk, the alumnus of Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management (GS-BATM). Khun Jacob shared invaluable insights on the essential elements for successful Joint Venture (JV) partnerships, focusing on partner selection, synergy assessment and effective execution.
During the engaging session, participants explored crucial questions relevant to each stage of the process from strategic consideration, partner screening and exit planning. Through the case analysis, participants applied systematic thinking framework and learned effective approaches in initiating the JV negotiation process. The dynamic discussions highlighted the importance of considering both quantitative and qualitative factors in fostering mutually beneficial alliances.
