HORIZON 2100 an International Youth Competition, both undergraduate and graduate students, aged 16-26, from around the world to participate in this exciting event. Horizon 2100’23 International Youth Competition is a competition of scientific and science fiction works in which young people present their vision of the future at the turn of 2100. The competition has been held since 2019 and during this time has involved more than 1,000 smart creative young people from 55 countries who are passionate about the future, and in general, including experts and participants in forums and various sessions, the project has reached more than 1,200 people from 63 countries.

Participants are encouraged to submit their entries in one of three categories:

Scientific Works: Articles, scientific research, and scientific-practical works that reflect innovative ideas and visionary perspectives for the year 2100.

Science Fiction: Stories, essays, reports that describe fantastical phenomena set in the year 2100 but grounded in scientific explanations.

Solutions for Sustainable Development: Works that propose solutions for sustainable development until 2100, capable of strengthening humanity's potential and ensuring a fairer future for generations to come.

Winners of the competition will have the unique opportunity to:

  • Participate in the School of Skills for the Future: An online program scheduled for January 2024.
  • Attend the International Youth Foresight Forum: Taking place from February 5th to 7th, 2024, participants will join discussions and activities related to "Steady Development 2100: Forecasts, Vision, Scenarios, and Plans" at one of the forum sites.
  • Compete in the Global Scientific Youth Tournament "HORIZON 2100": The GRAND PRIX team will be determined at this prestigious event.
