The 'IELE Language Cafe' event has come to a successful close, leaving attendees with lasting memories of a multicultural celebration. Held on September 5-6, 2023, at The Cathedral of Learning, Assumption University of Thailand, Suvarnabhumi Campus, the event was a heartwarming gathering that embraced languages, cultures, and community.
A standout moment of the event was the 'Teach Us Your Language' poster contest. Participants impressed with their creativity and linguistic talents, using visual art to represent their languages and cultures. The contest was met with enthusiasm, promoting a deeper understanding of the diverse languages within the AU community.
Attendees were treated to an array of delectable international cuisines and snacks, reflecting various cultures. The event also featured entertaining games and captivating performances, ensuring that everyone enjoyed the two-day celebration to the fullest.
The event provided insight into Assumption University's language programs, including Business English, Business French, Business Chinese, Business Japanese, General Education, English-Chinese for Digital Communication, and the English Language Teaching Program at the Graduate School of Human Sciences. The Confucius Institute of Assumption University (CIAU) also shared the wonders of Chinese language and culture.
