The Department of Design and Digital Innovation (DDI) at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) ’s Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME) buzzed with energy as it hosted its annual DDI Connect event. Held at GlowfishSathorn, the event showcased a plethora of student talent and innovative spirit.

A total of 23 teams, after receiving seed funding ranging from 70,000 to 100,000 THB, presented their diverse business projects and startups. Over two semesters, these aspiring entrepreneurs had honed their digital solutions to address real-world challenges, with a keen eye on achieving the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) status in fields as varied as Travel, Entertainment, Food and Drinks, and even Psychology.

The day began with an opening speech that set an inspiring tone, followed by the first round of student pitches. The innovative ideas flowed uninterrupted, with only a short break, before diving back into the sea of innovation. The event culminated in a conclusion and closing speech that not only praised the hard work and dedication of the students but also encouraged them to continue their journey in entrepreneurship.

DDI Connect proved to be more than an event; it was a celebration of the relentless pursuit of excellence and the power of digital innovation in shaping the future. With the support of AU, these young visionaries are not just dreaming of a brighter tomorrow; they are actively building it.
