On March 29, 2024, the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) held its Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2023. The auspicious event took place at the Auditorium Hall, Hua Mak Campus, from 13:30 to 16:00 hrs.
The ceremony recognized the outstanding achievements of nursing students who have met the rigorous academic and clinical demands of their studies. It served as a platform to promote a positive attitude toward the noble nursing profession among the graduates.
Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean of the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, in her academic address, said, "Today marks a significant milestone in your lives as professional nurses. Your dedication and hard work have brought you to this moment, and it's your compassionate spirit that will lead you to make an impactful difference in the lives of your patients."
Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice President for Moral Development Education & University Campus Minister of AU, in his opening remarks, highlighted the university's commitment to excellence in healthcare education,
An honorary session and the adorning of the professional signature by the graduates symbolized their readiness to enter the nursing field with honor and integrity. The graduates also took a Pledge of Loyalty, committing to uphold the ethics and responsibilities of their profession.
The event featured a compelling talk titled "Service Mind: A Way to Successful Nursing Care" by Thitirat Suparat-angkoon from Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi, emphasizing the importance of service-mindedness in nursing. She is an outstanding AU nursing alumnus.
The convocation was wrapped up with a celebratory photo session and visiting of hospital booths, which provided valuable networking opportunities for the graduates.
Assumption University of Thailand extends heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2023 and looks forward to their contributions to the global healthcare community.
