Assumption University's own A. Keeravoot Kittiyadisai, affectionately known as 'Ajarn Kee,' orchestrated a remarkable company visit. Students studying Advertising and Promotion Strategies embarked on an enlightening journey to explore the realm of digital transformation at Bangkok's Optimum Solution Defined (OSD), a pioneering AI and technology powerhouse founded in 2003.

OSD, recognized as one of the leading AI and digital transformation companies globally, boasts an impressive revenue exceeding 60 million Euros. Under the guidance of CEO Ms. Orasa Khawngam, the students were warmly welcomed and initiated into the OSD ethos through an introduction to the company's visionary mission, and values. OSD's Vision is clear and ambitious: "Empowering businesses with the most advantageous digital solutions for better outcomes and customer satisfaction."

Their Mission is equally inspiring: "At OSD, our mission is based on a commitment to deliver the most sensible digital solutions through unwavering determination and effective teamwork. We are dedicated to providing total dedication for the most beneficial values to businesses, serving as trusted partners in their sustainable growth and success."

The corporate values of OSD revolve around creating a culture of accountability, ownership, and fostering a growth mindset. The day's agenda included a deep dive into OSD's operations, featuring insights from OSD CFO, Mr. Thunvisit Sanguanphokai. Topics ranged from the challenges of converting unstructured data (text, video, audio, etc.) to structured data to the 10 Key GDPR requirements (General Data Protection Regulation) and discussions on the difference between information and data. Students also explored the benefits of using sentiment analysis, delved into the DIKW Pyramid, representing the relationship between Data, Information, Knowledge, and Wisdom, and gained valuable insights into tools and platforms for data-driven marketing.

The second presentation on "Empowering Business with AI Technology" was delivered by Mr. Suttipan Sutas Na Ayutthaya, the distinguished winner of the Microsoft Founders Club Innovation Excellence Award 2022. In his presentation, Mr. Sutas Na Ayutthaya explored the essential distinction between Company Centric and Customer Centric feedback. He emphasized that while Company Centric feedback may be informative, it doesn't necessarily address or improve the underlying issues. On the other hand, leveraging AI to collect and categorize customer-centric feedback offers a more comprehensive understanding of context and enables immediate corrective action. Mr. Suttipan Sutas Na Ayutthaya asked students to consider, "Is what the company wants to know the same as what the customer wants to tell?"

The morning sessions concluded with a delightful buffet lunch, catered by Khun Toy, and generously sponsored by OSD's CEO, Ms. Orasa Khawngam, providing the students with an opportunity for informal networking and further discussion.

As the students bid farewell to OSD, they left with minds brimming with newfound knowledge and experiences that will undoubtedly shape their future careers in the dynamic world of business and digital transformation.
