The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand and the Korean Culture Center, supported by the K-WBT Co., Ltd., organized the 10th Royal Princess Cup 2022 (Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn) on October 15th, 2022, at John Paul II Sports Center, Assumption University of Thailand, Suvarnabhumi Campus.

Thailand's Royal Princess Cup Taekwondo Tournament celebrated its 10th anniversary. The tournament, which had not been held last 2 years due to the COVID-19 situation. This tournament was attended by 3,000 people, including 1,000 players from 12 countries.

The ceremony was opened by H.E. Mr. Moon Seoung-hyun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Thailand, and as Royal Princess Cup Honorary President; Mr. Chatree Wattanakhajorn, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University of Thailand (AU), and honored guests who participated in this event.

John Paul II Sports Center was first built on April 10, 2001, and completed on May 30, 2002. It was officially opened to the public on January 28, 2003. Fully equipped and facilitated, the Center has, then, hosted a large number of sports competitions of the University and the external units.
