On the 23rd of September 2023, the Brother's of St. Gabriel of the Province of Thailand gathered to celebrate the Profession of the Perpetual Vows by Brother Raphael Charnnarong Boonpharm, Brother Peter the Apostle Supharoek Singhaphan, and Brother Simon Palakorn Pianpan. Presiding over this sacred ceremony was Bishop Joseph Chusak Sirisut, the Bishop of Nakorn Ratchasima Diocese. Adding divine grace to the proceedings, His Holiness Pope Francis imparted his Apostolic Blessing upon the Brothers.
These dedications align perfectly with the message of His Holiness Pope Francis, who has said, "The world tells us to seek success, power, and money; God tells us to seek humility, service, and love."
Assumption University President, Rev. Brother Bancha Saenghiran, f.s.g., Ph.D., conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to the three Brothers embarking on their final vows. He praised their commitment to a lifetime of service in God's name and their dedication to following in the footsteps of Saint Montfort, the founder of the Brothers of St Gabriel, saying, “Congratulations and warmest wishes to the three Brothers who will take their final vows, dedicating themselves to a lifetime of service in God's name. Following in the footsteps of Saint Montfort, the founder, they have discovered the profound purpose and direction for their gifts and talents. Through this commitment, they avail themselves fully, ready to serve God anywhere with boundless love and unwavering trust May God's blessing strengthen them as they live out these vows with continued faith and dedication."
Indeed, this event echoed the sentiments of Saint Louis de Montfort, who famously said, "By this devotion we give to Jesus all we can possibly give him, that is, through Mary's hands."
In a moment of profound reflection, we are reminded by Father Pascal Coulibaly of the remarkable commitment made by these devoted souls. He gracefully observes, "These three Brothers have dedicated the entirety of their lives to serve the world, treading steadfastly in the venerable footsteps of Saint Louis Marie de Montfort.
