On February 2, 2023, Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU) and Assumption College Thonburi signed a cooperation agreement on the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK). Rev. Bro. Dr. Sakda Sakontawat (ภราดา ดร.ศักดา สกนธวัฒน์), Director of Assumption College Thonburi, and Assoc. Prof. Yang Hairong, Director of CIAU, signed the agreement together.
At the signing ceremony, Assumption College Thonburi’s students performed a wonderful Chinese music and dance.
Rev. Bro. Dr. Sakda Sakontawat (ภราดา ดร.ศักดา สกนธวัฒน์) and Assoc. Prof. Yang Hairong, delivered speeches respectively, expressing their confidence in the future cooperation between the two sides in Chinese teaching, Chinese Proficiency Test and Chinese culture promotion.
In 2017, Assumption College Thonburi became the third teaching site of CIAU. By signing Chinese Proficiency Test cooperation agreement, the cooperative relationship between the two parties will be further strengthened. This will also help to tie Assumption University of Thailand and Assumption College Thonburi closer.
