Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali Krom Muen Suddhanarinatha was born on Saturday, 13 July 1957 at Guy's Hospital in London, England. She is the eldest child of Mom Rajawongse Adulakit Kitiyakara who is an older brother of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and HSH Princess Bandhu Savali Kitiyakara (Yugala).
Princess Soamsawali studied kindergarten at Chitralada School class 5 in the same class of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. She is the mother of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati. On 12 August 1991, her official full title became "HRH Princess Soamsavali Phravararajatinuddamatu", which mean as the mother of the king's first grandchild.
HRH Princess Soamsawali Krom Muen Suddhanarinatha has been at the forefront of Thailand’s response to HIV for about 30 years.
The UNAIDS in 2019 presented Her Royal Highness with the title of UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for HIV Prevention in Asia and the Pacific.
