Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly announces the outstanding achievements of its Business French students in the recently concluded French language competitions, held as part of the 44th Annual Celebration of the Thai Association of French Teachers (ATPF). The event was graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and held at Assumption College on November 19, 2023.

In a remarkable display of linguistic prowess and creativity, four Business French students from Assumption University clinched top honors in the fiercely contested French Writing and Story telling Contest. Ms. Jarukan Ruangsri, Ms. Jinda Kosa, and Mr. Valentin Delporte each secured the prestigious Third Prize, showcasing their exceptional skills in French writing and storytelling. Additionally, Ms. Nathapon Promsen received a Consolation Prize in the French Storytelling Contest, further underscoring the university’s strength in foreign language education..

These victories are a testament to Assumption University's dedication to fostering a deep understanding of French language and culture among its students. The Association of French Teachers in Thailand and The French Embassy in Thailand organized these contests, reflecting the university’s commitment to international standards of education and cultural exchange.

A. Dhapanita, Chairperson, and Assistant Professor Dr. Romain from Business French accompanied the students, offering their unwavering support throughout the event. Their guidance was instrumental in this significant achievement.


 

 

The theme of this year's ATPF celebration, “Tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana: Light of a Pedagogue with Multiple Commitments,” perfectly captures the spirit of dedication and excellence that our students have demonstrated.
