Another competition has just been done on behalf of the Assumption University team in the shooting competition of "Higher Education Sports" for the academic year 2022, with the Silver Medal, of women’s 10-meter pistol, and the 2nd runner-up result, Bronze Medal, of women's 25-meter pistol by Ms. Viramon Kidarn. And also Bronze Medal, of women's team 10-meter pistol, the team are comprised;

  1. Ms. Viramon Kidarn (นางสาววิรมณ คิดอ่าน) a 4th-year student from Thomas Aquinas School of Law
  2. Ms. Wasika Khunthong (นางสาววศิกา ขุนทอง) a 4th-year student from Theodore Maria School of Arts.
  3. Ms. Phinyalak Wadprasert (นางสาวภิญญลักษณ์ วาดประเสริฐ) a 4th-year student from Theodore Maria School of Arts.

The competition was organized by the National Shooting Sport Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, competing between 11-16 August 2022 within the Sports Authority of Thailand in Hua Mak, Bangkok.

The Shooting Sports Association of Thailand Under the Royal Patronage (N.S.S.A.T.) has hosted the competition “Thailand Open Shooting Championship 2022” at the Shooting Stadium between 20-29 June 2022. There were 35 Thai shooters competing in this event and most of them were the rising star sharpshooters including Ms. Viramon Kidarn, the AU student in her 4th year of the Thomas Aquinas School of Law. She has obtained the AU Athlete scholarship and is a member of the AU Shooting Team. In this competition, she won the gold medal in the category of Air pistol (10 meters.) under the banner of Thailand’s national team. There were shooters from four countries participating in the event which were Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and India.

Ms. Viramon has also made several achievements in other competitions, such as the Second Runner-Up for Women’s Handgun Shooting, Female Team in the 47th Thailand National Games, and the Second Runner-Up in the Shooting Championships 2021 in 25 M. Pistol Women.
