The Assumption University of Thailand (AU) Golf Team showcased exceptional skill and tenacity at the recent Chang Golf U Champions Cup 2023. Competing at the Lakeview Resort and Golf Club in Phetchaburi Province between August 3-6, the team emerged as the 1st runner up, second only to Sripatum University.
The remarkable achievement was led by the head coach, Mr. Yanatorn Premkamol. Following the success, the AU Golf Athlete Team, under the direction of Mr. Nukul Chaisuriya, Director of Center for Sports and Physical Fitness, and Mr. Yanatorn Premkamol, met with senior leaders at Assumption University to celebrate the achievement.
The AU President, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, praised the team, emphasizing the importance of balancing academics with sports. Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Vice President for Academic Affairs, extended his best wishes for the team's forthcoming appearance at the 49th University Games.
