FBI explored nanocosmetics with a Mahidol pharmacy expert in a future-focused special lecture.
Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed a timely deep dive into the science of next-generation beauty and personal care as the Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation (FBI) hosted a special lecture on “Nanocosmetics” on February19, 2026, at the Hua Mak Campus. The session brought students and faculty together to explore how nanotechnology is reshaping cosmetic formulation, enhancing performance, stability, and delivery systems while raising important questions about safety, regulation, and consumer trust.
The lecture was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veerawat Teeranachaideekul of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, whose expertise offered students a valuable window into how research and industry are converging in one of the fastest-evolving segments of applied science.
Designed to support course learning in FBT4005 Nanomaterials for Life Science and Industrial Applications and FT2006 Functional Food and Nutrition for Health, the program strengthened the School’s commitment to bringing contemporary scientific developments into the classroom, connecting theory to real-world innovation and professional pathways.
Through sessions such as this, the Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation continued to expand opportunities for students to engage with leading specialists and emerging topics, reinforcing AU’s emphasis on academic relevance, interdisciplinary learning, and future-ready expertise.
