Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology at Suvarnabhumi Campus, home to the world’s first MG Flagship Showroom and Training Center, welcomed MG Sales (Thailand) for the regional round of the MG Skill Contest 2025, on December 14, 2025, a national competition celebrating service excellence and next-generation automotive talent.
Held inside the state-of-the-art Gabriel Mary Research and Learning Center for New Energy Vehicle Technology building, the event highlighted AU’s unique global partnership with MG and SAIC, positioning the university as a pioneering hub for electric-vehicle training, technical innovation, and hands-on industry collaboration. Guests and participants experienced service simulations, technical diagnostics, and customer-experience challenges designed to raise service standards across Thailand’s expanding EV landscape.
MG executives, AU leadership, and industry partners joined the morning ceremony before observing contestants demonstrate professional capabilities in key roles including Service Advisors, Technicians, Customer Relations Officers, Parts Officers, Warranty Officers, Sales Consultants, and Body & Paint specialists.
The competition concluded with an awards ceremony honoring this year’s outstanding performers:
MG Sales (Thailand) expressed appreciation to AU for hosting the competition at its landmark training center and reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing Thailand’s automotive service sector through innovation, specialized training, and nationwide skill development.
AU looks forward to expanding its collaboration with MG and SAIC, continuing to prepare Thailand’s future professionals for leadership in electric mobility, automotive engineering, and customer-service excellence.
