Assumption University of Thailand (AU) ’s Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), in collaboration with Leadership Academy Nepal (LAN), successfully hosted the “Global Trends in Leadership & Management (GTL&M) 2025” This transformative event took place at NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard Hotel and Assumption University of Thailand, providing essential skills and contemporary insights to Nepali professionals from diverse sectors.



Now in its third year, GTL&M 2025 was introduced by Dr. Jenette Villegas-Puyod of Global Business Management, MSME. Organized and coordinated by Dr. Punnaluck Satanasavapak, Director of the St. Thomas Aquinas Center for Business Solutions, and Acharn Kaimook Numgaroonaroonroj, Manager of the same center, the event saw significant contributions from Dr. Radha Sirianukul, Director of the Department of Global Engagement and Partnerships; Dr. Nichanan Sakolvieng, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyawan Puttibarncharoensri, Assistant Dean for Industry Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Vasa Buraphadeja, Director of the Center for Learning Innovation; and Dr. Waranya Atchariyachanvanich. Representing LAN were Mr. Jayendra Rimal, Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Pravakar Pradhan, Senior Program Manager.
The GTL&M 2025 program aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of contemporary leadership trends, equip them with innovative strategies for organizational success, and empower them to excel in leadership roles amidst global complexities. Highlights included interactive workshops and discussions led by industry experts, cultural excursions to promote immersive cultural exchange, insightful industry visits for first-hand exposure to international business practices, and extensive networking opportunities.


With a dedicated cohort of 14 Nepali professionals, GTL&M 2025 marked a significant milestone in their professional development, equipping them with enhanced knowledge, renewed purpose, and practical tools to thrive in their respective fields. This initiative underscores AU’s commitment to fostering leadership excellence in collaboration with LAN, further enriching the professional landscape of Nepal.
