Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology hosted the Future Food Student Innovation Showcase on September 17, 2025, at the Salle d’ Expo, Hua Mak Campus. The event highlighted student creativity, scientific research, and entrepreneurial drive in shaping the foods of tomorrow.

From sustainable packaging solutions to innovative food products and technologies, students presented forward-thinking ideas aimed at tackling global challenges in nutrition, sustainability, and food security. Visitors were able to explore prototypes, sample new concepts, and engage directly with AU’s next generation of food innovators.

The showcase brought together AU students, faculty, and industry guests, fostering meaningful conversations about the role of biotechnology and innovation in Thailand’s fast-evolving food sector. It also underlined the University’s commitment to equipping students with hands-on learning experiences that connect science with real-world application.

Asst. Prof. Patchanee Yasurin, Ph.D., Dean of the Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, praised the students’ achievements, noting that their projects reflected not only technical knowledge but also creativity and a strong awareness of sustainability and global food trends.

The Future Food Student Innovation Showcase demonstrated that the future of food is not just about taste, it is about responsibility, sustainability, and vision. AU students showed that with knowledge and imagination, they can contribute solutions that nourish both people and the planet.
