FBI students celebrated the season with community, creativity, and inspiring new student leadership.
A Festive Evening of Science, Friendship, and Fun
The Food Biotechnology and Innovation (FBI) program at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) brought its student community together for the FBI Christmas Party 2025, held on Friday, December 19, at Salle d’Expo, Hua Mak Campus.
The event captured the joyful spirit of the season while reflecting the close-knit culture of the FBI program. Students enjoyed an evening filled with games, shared food, laughter, and a thoughtfully organized gift exchange that emphasized inclusivity, generosity, and togetherness.
More than a holiday celebration, the gathering highlighted the strong bonds formed within the FBI community, where academic rigor, collaboration, and friendship go hand in hand.
Welcoming a New Student President
A key highlight of the evening was the official announcement of the new FBI Student President, Mr. Kaung Myat Aung, affectionately known as “River,” a second-year student widely respected for his positivity, leadership, and commitment to his peers.
In his Christmas remarks, River shared a message that resonated deeply with students and faculty alike:
“Christmas is a time for gratitude, kindness, and being together and that’s exactly what makes FBI special. We learn, we create, and we support one another like a family. I’m truly honored to serve as Student President, and I look forward to a year where we grow stronger, dream bigger, and keep the FBI spirit alive, both in the lab and beyond.”

His appointment was met with enthusiastic applause, reflecting the trust and optimism the FBI student body places in his leadership.
Celebrating the FBI Spirit
The FBI Christmas Party 2025 reaffirmed the program’s commitment to developing not only skilled food biotechnology professionals, but also confident leaders grounded in teamwork, empathy, and shared purpose. As the year came to a close, the celebration marked both a joyful ending and a promising beginning for the FBI community.
