Entrepreneurial Mindset and Digital Food Marketing Drew Industry Voices to FBI

FBI connected students with real-world founders shaping Thailand’s food brands.

The Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation (FBI) at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) hosted “Entrepreneurial Mindset & Digital Food Marketing” for FT4148 Consumer Food Marketing and FT2003 Food Changing the World on  February 13, 2026, bringing students face-to-face with industry leaders and practical insights into building, branding, and scaling food businesses in today’s digital-first marketplace.

Real Startup Lessons, Real Market Moves

The session spotlighted the realities behind launching and growing consumer food brands where product is only half the story, and marketing, storytelling, and customer trust do the heavy lifting. Students explored how founders test ideas, build brand identity, and use digital channels to reach new audiences in a crowded market (because “great taste” doesn’t automatically trend, sadly).

Guest Speakers From Thailand’s Food Business Scene

The program featured two guest speakers who shared founder journeys and lessons learned from the front lines of food entrepreneurship:

Sasinee Amornrattanakornkul, Co-Founder, Heng Cha; and former MIXUE 1 Store Franchise License Owner
Tupthai Ritthaprom, CEO & Co-Founder, Firefly Holding Co., Ltd.

Facilitation and Event Flow

The session was facilitated by Mr. Apinard Kunanopparat, or P’ Best, Master of Ceremonies, helping guide the conversation and keep the morning engaging, student-centered, and focused on practical takeaways. By the end of the morning, FBI students weren’t just taking notes, they were thinking like founders.

The Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation (FBI) once again proved its strength in connecting academic learning with the realities of the marketplace, equipping students with the mindset and digital marketing know-how that modern food businesses demand. It was a clear reflection of what FBI does best: turning talent into readiness and ideas into impact.
