Booked & Busy: ECD Students Check-in at Trip.com Bangkok

ECD students explored global travel marketing during an immersive visit to Trip.com Bangkok.

A First Field Trip with Global Reach

Students from the English–Chinese for Digital Communication (ECD) Program at the Theodore Maria School of Arts, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), embarked on their first official field trip on January 23, 2026, visiting the Trip.com Bangkok Office. one of the world’s leading online travel service providers.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Khun Rudeephan Temchuen, Regional Director, Destination Marketing & Government Affairs, together with her professional team, who generously shared their time, expertise, and behind-the-scenes insights into the fast-evolving global travel industry.

From Classroom to Corporate Practice

During the visit, students gained first-hand exposure to global business trends, digital marketing strategies, and the real-world mechanics of trip planning and destination promotion. Through interactive discussions with Trip.com professionals, students explored how multilingual communication, data-driven storytelling, and cross-cultural branding shape today’s digital travel platforms.

These exchanges provided valuable professional context to complement classroom learning—bridging theory with practice and helping students better understand how international organizations operate in highly competitive digital environments.
