The Louis Nobiron School of Music at Assumption University of Thailland (AU) struck a high note to start the semester, rolling out a warm, high-energy welcome for its newest family members—first-year students ready to turn their passion for music into purpose.
With smiles, applause, and plenty of good vibes, Asst. Prof. Dr. Krittisak Poolsawat, Chairperson, and A. Vitti Thitovongse, Deputy Chairperson, delivered inspiring opening remarks. More than just speeches, their words lit the stage for an exciting journey ahead—encouraging students to dream big, work hard, and make this vibrant school their second home.

The orientation also spotlighted the University’s signature Music Entrepreneurship program—the only one of its kind in Thailand. Here, students don’t just learn performance and theory—they explore music as a driver of innovation, business, and social impact. From composing to producing, data analytics to artist management, the program blends creativity with real-world skills to prepare students for success in today’s digital music landscape.

The event also included cheerful introductions from faculty and senior students, creating a relaxed, inclusive vibe. Through informal self-introductions, new students began forming bonds that will likely echo through their entire academic experience.
With creativity in the air and endless possibilities, the School of Music is ready to rock this academic year. One chord at a time, AU’s newest musicians are tuning up for greatness.
