AU Golfers Swing to Glory at Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2025

Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s golf team proudly delivered an outstanding performance at the Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2025 Grand Final, held from September 5–7, 2025 at Lake View Resort & Golf Club, Phetchaburi.

The AU golfers secured 2nd place in the Team Category and achieved remarkable success in the Individual Category, with 1st and 2nd place finishes, further cementing AU’s reputation for athletic excellence.

Team Triumph

AU’s eight-member squad showed unity, skill, and determination to claim 2nd place in the team competition.

AU golfers also shined individually, showcasing skill and composure under pressure:

1st Place – Mr. Papangkorn Nuprachum (Martin de Tours of Management and Economics)

2nd Place – Mr. Noppakrit Jirapiboonsuk (Theodore Maria School  of Arts)

5th Place – Mr. Thanakrit Phenkhoksung (Theodore Maria School of Arts)

11th Place – Mr. Pumipat Tumnao (Vincent Mary School  of Engineering, Science and Technology)

Distinguished Support

This prestigious event was honored by the presence of Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Yutthana Suwannatarn, Vice President for Student Affairs, and A. Nukul Chaisuriya, Director of the AU Center for Sports and Physical Fitness (CSPF), Student Affairs  who encouraged and supported AU’s student-athletes throughout the tournament.

Special thanks go to A. Kasikrid Muntasut, Team Advisor, and A. Supares Dangkhum, Lecturer of the Theodore Maria School  of Arts, for their tireless guidance. The AU Golf Team also benefited from the professional expertise of One Degree Center’s coaching team – Pro Pompetch, Pro Kee, Pro Makan, and P’ Kaew – whose specialized training prepared the athletes for success.
