At the Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL 2025, held at BITEC Bangna, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly took the stage to share cutting-edge knowledge in biotechnology. On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Ajarn Watanya Chaisayan, Lecturer from the Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, presented on “Sensory for Quality Control” at the Bio Square Hall.


Her presentation highlighted the crucial role of sensory evaluation in ensuring food quality and safety, bridging scientific methodology with real-world applications for industry professionals. With a strong focus on physical, chemical, and sensory aspects of product deterioration, Ms. Watanya demonstrated how these evaluations enhance quality control practices across the food and biotech sectors.
The session attracted a diverse audience of academics, researchers, and industry practitioners, underscoring AU’s growing reputation as a leader in biotechnology education and research. The interactive talk not only delivered valuable insights but also positioned AU’s School of Biotechnology as an active contributor to Thailand’s scientific and industrial innovation.
