Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 13, 2025, between Assumption University of Thailand (AU), through the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), and the Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, the Integrated Real Estate Project was successfully conducted from August 13–18, 2025.
The program brought together students and faculty members from UM to collaborate with AU students in a week-long series of academic workshops, industry-led talks, and immersive field visits to prominent sites across Bangkok.
Dr. Suwaree Tantanawat, Chairperson of AU’s Department of Real Estate, led the initiative and coordinated professional lectures featuring both AU faculty and external experts. The program also included corporate site visits and engagement with government agencies, ensuring that participants gained first-hand exposure to industry practices and policy frameworks.
This milestone program not only deepened academic and cultural ties between Thailand and Malaysia but also underscored a shared commitment to innovation, industry relevance, and regional impact in the built environment sector. By fostering collaboration across borders, the initiative reaffirmed both AU and UM’s dedication to delivering future-forward education that prepares students to lead in a rapidly changing global landscape.
