Assistant Professor Dr. Sanphawat Jatupatwarangkul recently led a group of six senior students from the Architecture Program at Assumption University on a 16-day study tour in Germany. The highlight of the trip was their participation in the annual international architecture workshop, held from March 17 to 21, 2025, under the theme “Re_sourcing Architecture Design Aesthetic.”

The five-day workshop took place at Innovation Port Wismar and the Faculty of Design at Wismar University of Applied Sciences. It brought together faculty members and more than 70 students from four countries: Sweden (Linnaeus University, Kalmar), Slovakia (Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava), Thailand (Assumption University), and the United States (University of Hartford).

Beyond the workshop, the group embarked on an educational tour, visiting over 10 renowned sites of historical and contemporary architecture across various German cities, including Rostock, Stralsund, Schwerin, Hamburg, and Berlin.

This immersive experience provided students with valuable international exposure and a deeper understanding of architectural design across different cultures and eras.
