ABAC School of Music kicked off 2026 with a star-studded campus concert.
The Louis Nobiron School of Music at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) opened the year on a high note with its annual New Year Party Concert, held on January 28, 2026 at the Suvarnabhumi Campus.
The evening drew a large crowd of students who turned the campus into a festival ground of lights, sound, and shared celebration. A diverse lineup of professional artists took the stage, including MEAN, Crescendo, Goodmood, Clockwork Motionless, and De Flamingo. Each act delivered punchy, crowd-pleasing sets that kept the audience singing along well into the night.
The concert also showcased rising artists from AMBER, the School of Music’s in-house label, highlighting students who were already stepping into the professional music world.
More than just a party, the event functioned as a live classroom. Students in the BA in Music Entrepreneurship program’s Concert Management course planned and executed the entire production. From artist coordination and technical setup to backstage operations and stage management, every detail was handled by students gaining real industry experience.
Held annually on the last Wednesday of January, this signature concert had become both a tradition and a training ground celebrating creativity while sharpening practical skills. With bigger crowds and bolder production each year, the 2026 edition set a new benchmark for what student-led events on campus could achieve.
As the first and only music entrepreneurship school in Thailand and across Asia, the School of Music at AU empowers students to merge artistic talent with business vision. Beyond performance and theory, the program equips aspiring artists, producers, and industry innovators with practical skills in management, marketing, and digital technology, enabling them to build their own paths in the rapidly evolving music industry and emerge as creative leaders of the future.
The night proved that when learning met live music, the result was electric.
