Music, memories, and unity brought the AU community together this Christmas.
A Night to Remember at Assumption University of Thailand
Assumption Universityof Thailand (AU) brought the spirit of Christmas to life on December 23, 2025, as students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests gathered at Suvarnabhumi Campus, for the AU Christmas Celebration 2025: Christmas Across Memories.
The theme Christmas Across Memories reflected the shared experiences at AU, especially for students far from home, where joy, warmth, and a sense of belonging came together in one familiar place.
From the opening moments, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and reflection. Following the Master of Ceremony’s welcome and a moment of silence honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the celebration unfolded with performances that captured both festivity and meaning.
The stage came alive with an energetic showcase by the AU Cheerleading Group, marking their official grand debut as student representatives, followed by a lively musical performance by Kannika Band from Nawamintharachinuthit Triamudomsuksa Pattanakarn School, strengthening ties between the university and its neighboring community.
A contemporary stage production, “The Light of Christmas” by the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts brought modern storytelling and visual excitement, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Adding color and creativity, the Christmas Costume Contest filled the venue with laughter and festive cheer, before the program returned to music with a refined performance by the Louis Nobiron School of Music.
One of the evening’s most heartfelt moments followed the President’s Christmas Blessing, as executives, faculty, staff, students, and alumni joined together on stage to sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas symbolizing the unity of the AU Community.
The celebration also reflected AU’s commitment to inclusivity and social responsibility through a moving performance by Heaven Sound, a band of visually impaired musicians from the Thailand Association of the Blind, whose melodies resonated deeply with the audience.
The night reached its emotional peak with a mini concert by The Parkinson. Their soulful sound and intimate stage presence perfectly embodied the theme Christmas Across Memories, leaving the audience with lasting impressions of reflection, connection, and shared joy.
Behind the Scenes: Making the Season Shine
The success of Christmas Across Memories was made possible through the dedication and collaboration of the Assumption University Student Organization (AUSO) and the Office of Student Affairs, whose teams worked closely with students and university units to bring the celebration to life.
From stage coordination and performances to student engagement and festive activities, their leadership and commitment ensured a seamless, inclusive, and memorable Christmas experience for the entire AU Community.
