October 2, 2020, Ministry of Culture, Royal Thai Government, awarded “Watana Kunathonn Award (Cultural Contributor Award) to Dr. Apichart Intravisit, Director of MBA Creative Communication Program, Graduate School of Business. Since its conception in 2001, Ministry of Culture has held the Watana Kunathonn Award presentation annually to recognize personalities whose works demonstrate a comprehensive support and contribution towards growth and sustainability of Thai culture and cultural promotion at home and abroad.

AU Ph.D. Business Candidates to Benefit from Better Systems

The popularly known AU Ph.D. Program in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, Finance and Management has been further enhanced to improve its operations and the even more effective teaching and learning systems to ensure that candidates are able to graduate in a timely fashion: i.e. within the limitation of six years.To achieve these esteemed targets, the meeting was organized on October 9, 2020 to discuss, establish a series of rules, policies, settle the related issues and resolve any hurdles thus enabling students to complete their studies with no unnecessary further delay.

Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Dean, AU Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, has been invited as a special guest speaker addressing the TTC Group (Thai Bev. SEG) of about 100 highly-level executives on the topic of “Leader for Success” and the “Online and Offline Modes of the Upskill Reskill Courses.” on October 16, 2020.

Marketing Department, MSME Business School, Assumption University, in collaboration with SEG (Southeast Group) under the concept of Happiness by Design (HbD) held an online training for Top Sales Managers entitled “Digital Marketing Course” for 2 batches. The online training was held during August - October, 2020.

AU Music Student’s Achievement & Outstanding Piano Talent Recognized

A highly talented Pianist AU music major, from Department of Music Performance, AU Louis Nobiron School of Music, Mr. Parikesit Tanudjaja displayed his excellent piano expertise and skills during an International Piano Competition 2020: Group (Age 18-24 Years). The international competition was organized during October 23-25, 2020 at the Siam Ratchada Auditorium (Yamaha Ratchadapisek Music School), Bangkok, Thailand, among expert pianists competing for the Royal Trophy of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

Business Chinese Students Won the Commendable Prize in Online Media Campaign for Online Marketing

Assumption University “GROWING TOGETHER” Business Chinese Student Team from Department of Business Chinese, Theodore Maria School of Arts, which competed in “The 1st Thai University Students Competition for Creating Online Media Campaign for Online Marketing” was awarded the prestigious “Commendable Prize” The competition was hosted on October 26, 2020 by the Confucius Institute at Chiangmai University in collaboration with the College or Arts, Media and Technology, Chiangmai University.

The festive Loy Krathong Tradition was cerebrated among the AU community members not only to preserve the highly valuable cultural heritage and the long-practiced precious custom, but with the environmental concern with the “Green and Clean” practice. To achieve this noble mission, individuals are encouraged to create their old Kratongs made only from biodegradable materials to instill in all members their responsibility of keeping the environments and surroundings not only “Green but but alo Clean”
