Word Up! AU’s IELE Hosts Creative English Camp

The Institute for English Language Education (IELE), Theodore Maria School of Arts, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), joined hands with Pramandanijjanukroah School to host the third annual MEP English Camp on September 5, 2025. The event is part of an ongoing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two Institutions.

This year’s camp carried the theme “Creative English Communication for Future Life.” Students took part in a series of lively, station-based activities designed to boost confidence and communication skills in English. The program was led by IELE instructors, with strong support from undergraduate volunteers and graduate students in the English Language Teaching (ELT) programs at the Graduate School of Human Sciences.

Building on the success of this initiative, IELE will soon conduct CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) assessments for both students and teachers. These assessments will not only benchmark language proficiency but also provide valuable guidance for curriculum development and teacher training—ensuring a holistic approach to English language education.

The enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from students reaffirm the value of this partnership, which continues to strengthen English learning opportunities and nurture future-ready skills.
