From Studio Lights to Simulated Flights, a Day of Discovery and Connection

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) had the distinct honor of welcoming a group of Vietnamese religious sisters on June 13, 2025, for a special tour of the Suvarnabhumi Campus that blended technology, creativity, and spiritual camaraderie.
The visit began at the CA Creative Arts Studio, where the sisters were introduced to AU’s vibrant media and design ecosystem. With curiosity and joy, they explored the behind-the-scenes world of student productions, green screen technology, and digital storytelling. The sisters engaged deeply with AU’s commitment to nurturing creativity with purpose—an environment where faith, culture, and innovation harmoniously coexist.
Next stop: the VMES Labs, a hub of aviation excellence and engineering precision. The sisters were invited into the Flight Simulator, where they observed how students are trained to navigate the skies—virtually. They also visited the Aircraft Maintenance Lab and the Engineering Workshop, where the future of aeronautics takes shape through hands-on learning and real-world scenarios. The excitement was contagious, with many of the sisters remarking how impressed they were by AU’s high-tech resources and the passion of its faculty and students.
Throughout the day, their presence brought warmth, kindness, and a gentle reminder of the power of shared values. The sisters expressed their admiration for AU’s mission, especially its dedication to holistic education rooted in ethics, service, and global citizenship.
This meaningful visit highlighted the deep bond between education and faith—and the bridges we build across borders through dialogue, hospitality, and learning.
