A Day Where the AU Community Came Together

Assumption University of Thailand(AU)  hosted Together We Glow 2026 on Saturday, 17 January 2026, welcoming graduates, students, faculty members, staff, distinguished guests, and partners to celebrate new beginnings, academic milestones, and collective achievement across its campuses.

Guided by the theme “Freedom to Eat, Happiness to Feel,” the event reflected the university’s commitment to holistic success, where academic excellence is balanced with well-being, creativity, and community spirit.

Honoring Graduates and Academic Milestones

The day began with group photo sessions for graduates of Class 53 at the Cathedral of Learning, allowing graduating master’s and doctoral students to commemorate their academic journey in a formal yet celebratory setting. These moments marked an important transition, honoring achievement while looking confidently toward the future.

Food, Fellowship, and Campus Celebration

Midday activities brought the AU community together through lunch receptions and a campus-wide food fair, creating welcoming spaces for connection and conversation.

Distinguished guests and VIPs gathered for a hosted luncheon, while graduates, students, and visitors enjoyed the Food Fair & Welcome area at the Gabriel Mary Research and Learning Center for New Energy Vehicle Technology, reinforcing the inclusive and joyful spirit of the day.

Advancing Innovation and International Collaboration

A central highlight of Together We Glow 2026 was the official unveiling of the Cultural Technology and Social Innovation Lab, jointly established by Assumption University of Thailand and Peking University. Held at Grand Salon,St. Raphael’s Hall, the ribbon-cutting and opening ceremony underscored the university’s commitment to international collaboration, cultural exchange, and forward-looking innovation.

The afternoon continued with the opening of Resonance: China–Thai Arts Exchange Exhibition at the AU Museum, celebrating artistic dialogue and cross-cultural creativity between Thailand and China.

This was followed by the inauguration of the International Alliance for New Energy Vehicle Education and Industry Integration, reinforcing AU’s role in advancing education, research, and industry collaboration in sustainable mobility and future technologies.

An Evening of Celebration and Shared Pride

The day concluded with Trojans Night Gala Dinner and Graduation Celebration, held at the King ‘s court. Graduates of Class 53 came together for an evening of recognition, joy, and celebration—honoring both personal achievement and the shared journey that brought them to this milestone.

Growing Forward, Together

More than a single-day event, Together We Glow 2026 symbolized AU’s vision for the future—one rooted in academic excellence, international partnership, innovation, cultural exchange, and a strong sense of community.

As the university continues to grow and evolve, Together We Glow stands as a reminder that the brightest achievements are those celebrated together.
