WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
On April 4, 2025, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) warmly welcome representatives from Jianyang High School, Sichuan, China, for a memorable day of exploration, cultural exchange, and partnership building.
The day’s activities began with breakfast and a comprehensive tour of AU’s Suvarnabhumi Campus, showcasing key facilities such as the Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science abd Technology, Theodore Maria School of Arts, AU Mall, Swimming pool, and chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort. The highlight of the morning is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, marking a significant step toward greater educational collaboration.
The MoU focuses on three main areas:
- China-Thailand youth friendship matches in football, tennis, and other sports.
- Cultural exchange study tours, including art study tours.
- Exchange programs for visiting students from both institutions.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an authentic Thai lunch and then visited Assumption College Thonburi , experiencing the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, including smart classrooms, laboratories, and cultural centers. The afternoon concluded with an education forum discussing international curricula and exchange opportunities, wrapping up with a seaside dinner and souvenir exchanges.
