Indonesian faculty and students explored food innovation and global collaboration at Assumption University of Thailand.
On 22 January 2026, the Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), warmly welcomed faculty members and students from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Soegijapranata Catholic University, Indonesia, for an academic visit focused on collaboration, innovation, and shared learning.
The visit aimed to strengthen academic cooperation in education, teaching, and research between the two institutions. Throughout the program, the visiting delegation attended presentations introducing AU’s academic offerings, participated in study visits related to food biotechnology and innovation, and engaged in lively discussions that encouraged the exchange of ideas, experiences, and future collaboration pathways.
Beyond the classrooms and laboratories, the visit provided a meaningful platform for students from both universities to connect across cultures, compare academic perspectives, and gain hands-on exposure to learning in an international environment. The exchange reflected a shared commitment to nurturing globally minded graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for sustainable academic and professional growth.
