The Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics,The MSME Business School of Assumption University of Thailand (AU)  held its final orientation for graduating students, marking a pivotal moment as they prepared to transition from campus life to the professional world.

Designed to strengthen confidence, sharpen mindset, and reinforce real-world skills, the program brought together industry leaders and corporate partners to share practical insights on what today’s organizations expect from new graduates.

Adapting to a World in Constant Change

The highlight of the orientation was a keynote session by Dr. Kotchaporn Aussawasuranart, Vice President and Head of People Development Strategy and Solution, Kasikorn Bank,  who spoke on Change-Ready Talent: What Organizations Expect from Graduates in a World of Constant Change”.

With extensive experience in human resources consulting, she has specialized in leadership strategies that align organizational capability with business challenges and strategic goals. Her expertise spans organizational structure and culture design, talent and succession management, leadership competency assessment, and leadership development, including competency model and curriculum design. Her approach focuses on tailoring solutions to each organization’s context, ensuring that learning initiatives support real operational needs.

She has led consulting and project management engagements across a wide range of industries, including finance and banking, energy, insurance, automotive, logistics, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, and the public sector.

Her message focused on the qualities employers value most: adaptability, continuous learning, resilience, and the ability to stay ahead of disruption. Students were encouraged to take ownership of their growth and approach their careers with agility and purpose.

Learning from Industry, Not Just About It

The event also featured hands-on workshops led by leading corporate partners, giving students direct exposure to industry expectations.

Representatives from CPF conducted a session on resume strategy and interview preparation, offering insider guidance along with live mock interview experiences.

Uniqlo shared insights on service excellence and career pathways, providing a behind-the-scenes look at global operational standards and professional development opportunities within an international organization.

These sessions reflected MSME’s commitment to experiential learning, where industry engagement plays a central role in preparing students for employment.

A Final Step Toward Professional Life

More than a closing event, the orientation served as a launch point. It reinforced MSME’s mission to develop graduates who combine academic knowledge with professional readiness, global perspective, and practical competence.
