WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
On 18 July 2025, the Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed Dr. Petch Manopawitr for a thought-provoking session on “Government Policies and Sustainability,” as part of FT1005 Environmental Conservation course.
Dr. Petch, a conservation scientist and technical advisor to international environmental organizations, currently serves as President of the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand (BCST). He is also the Co-founder of ReReef, a Thai-based social enterprise pioneering community-led coral reef restoration.
Held at E36, Engineering Hall, Hua Mak Campus, the session explored the intersection of science, governance, and grassroots innovation—empowering students to think critically about sustainability in action.
