The MSME Business School, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) successfully hosted the seminar “Retirement Planning for a Happy, Secure, and Prosperous Future” on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Wiset Sri Samut Room, Suvarnabhumi Campus.
Led by renowned financial planning expert Dr. Sarina Preechalert, CFP, the seminar equipped participants with essential tools to prepare for a financially stable and emotionally fulfilling retirement. With Thailand entering to an aged society, the event came at a critical time—providing practical guidance for faculty, staff, and members of the AU community on how to take proactive steps toward long-term wellbeing.
Throughout the morning, attendees explored topics such as:
- The implications of an aged society in Thailand
- Support systems from both the government and voluntary sectors
- Necessary preparations for employees in the private sector
- The sufficiency of current retirement benefits
- Strategies to fill financial gaps and ensure a smooth transition into retirement
The highlight of the session was the final presentation, where Dr. Sarina inspired the audience to begin planning for a “happy retirement”—emphasizing that financial peace of mind is key to enjoying the years ahead.
