Visitors from Assumption College Rayong Visited AU

Rev. Bro. Katawut Sittichoksakul, Deputy Director, and 8 teachers from Assumption College Rayong visited Assumption University of Thailand (AU) on December 16, 2021. The visit at the faculties of Biotechnology, Engineering, and Science and Technology is aimed at the academic collaboration and exchanges for transferring knowledge and experience to students, and the visit could be beneficial for school students’ study plans and academic choices in the future. At AU, the group of visitors visited several faculties.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Patchanee Yasurin, Dean Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, and the lecturers of school welcomed and recommended the school’s curricula at A 52 Room, Assumption Hall, Hua Mak Campus. Also, the visitors were led to visit laboratories that AU students use to practice and produce food products and food preservation to add value. It was very interesting to the visitors.

In the afternoon, at Suvarnabhumi Campus, the group of visitors visited True Lab at Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology and Vincent Mary School of Engineering. During this visit, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, welcomed the visitors and provided ideas for establishing academic cooperation in various fields between the two institutions including guidelines for academic development which meet the students’ needs, job markets, and facilities in the university.

After that, Dr. Songsak Channarukul, Dean of Vincent Mary School of Science and Technology, and his lecturers introduced the faculty’s courses and brought the visitors to see important laboratories of the school.

Finally, the group of visitors visited Vincent Mary School of Engineering. Asst. Prof. Dr. Narong Aphiratsakun, Dean, and the school’s lecturers welcomed and introduced the faculty’s courses. Also, they were brought to see important laboratories of the school.
