The President of Assumption University attended the ACUCA Executive Board Meeting 2/2021 on June 28, 2021

Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) attended the Online Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA) Executive Board Meeting on June 28, 2021. There were 69 members from 9 countries in Asia including Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Myanmar, The Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand attended the meeting.

In this meeting, Mr. Glen Chatelier, Director, Office of International Affairs, Assumption University was designated as a representative of ACUCA Board Committee.

On April 7, 2021

The First ACUCA Executive Committee meeting for the year 2021 was hosted online via Zoom by the President Institution, Silliman University on April 7 (Wednesday) at 3 o’clock in the afternoon (HKT).

The President - Rector Magnificus of Assumption University of Thailand as Executive Board member and the Director of the Office of International Affairs, Mr. Glen Chatelier, as Designated Representative on the Board participated in the meeting which among other matters discussed two major events lined up for this year: the Joint Consultation Meeting with the United Board (July 16-17) and the ACUCA Management Conference and General Assembly (November 2021).

Assumption University known as Catholic University and the first International University in Thailand has its reputation in using English as a medium of instruction for 52 years. All courses and programs offered are taught in English by qualified instructors from over 50 nationalities around the world.

In addition, Assumption University collaborates with leading educational institutions internationally to set up academic collaboration in different areas including exchange programs, organizing academic seminar or conference, and providing scholarship for both students and its personnel as part of professional development program.
