Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science organized the Nursing Convocation for nursing graduates class of 2019 on December 4, 2020 at Salle d’ Expo. The objectives of convocation were; to strengthen nursing culture, tradition, and morality including positive attitudes toward nursing profession; and recognize outstanding nursing graduates.

There were 18 nursing graduates participating in the ceremony. The activities consisted of academic address by the Dean, Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Adorning the professional signature through giving black strip and pinning by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nanthaphan Chinlumprasert, the former Dean and Advisor of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, and administrative committee. Alumni talk entitled “Dare to Dream and Brave It Out: Turn Impossible to be Possible” shared work life experience by Ms. Naiyanate Prasong, Registered Nurse working in a hospital in Germany and Ms. Sasiwan Akkarachumiri, Area Manager, Fresenius Kidney Care.

Furthermore, the Honorary Session was arranged to recognize Ms. Juraphat Chairat, a nursing graduate who received the Nurses’ Association of Thailand or NAT Award and four nursing graduates; Ms. Kinley Zam, Mr. Pema Tshering, Ms. Pema Yangchen, and Ms. Suthirawee Narongrat who will get honor in the upcoming commencement exercise on January 16, 2021. The graduating nurses presented pledge of Loyalty to the faculty members, school, and the university.

The last admonition by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nanthaphan Chinlumprasert, the former Dean and Advisor of Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science was impressively performed to remind them to behave following the school and university identities, guide nursing graduates for working as professional nurse in the future as well as congratulate them for their success.
