A virtual meeting to greet the freshmen to emphasize the core values of Assumption University’s international education and to inform them on matters pertaining to Immigration processes and to update them about the current COVID 19 pandemic situation in Thailand, the Director conducted a virtual session, fielded questions, listened to the concerns of students. The Director assured all students that Assumption University of Thailand values them as learners and would do everything to help them in their learning processes. The meeting ended on a positive note and happy feelings among all.

Meeting and Greeting students from the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts
Mr. Glen Chatelier, the Director of the Office of International Affairs met and greeted the current international students of the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts via an online session on August 11, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. The Director reminded students about their mission and asked them to equip themselves with knowledge and skills for a world dominated by new digital technologies while they are preparing themselves for leadership roles.
At the very beginning of the meeting, The Director was joined by Dr. Marissa Chantamas, Dean of the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts who addressed the concerns of students while promising to look into the matter of class assignments.

Words of welcome and encouragement to Graduate students in the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics
On August 7 in the morning, on behalf of Rev. Brother Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the President-Rector Magnificus of Assumption University of Thailand, Mr. Glen Chatelier the Director of the Office of International Affairs greeted, welcomed and encouraged the International students in the Graduate programs offered by the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics in semester 1/2020.
The Director profiled the 52-year history of Assumption University of Thailand as a case of a knowledge intensive institution, espousing Christian values, international in its focus of disciplines of study, Faculty and students and encouraging dialogs of diversity and cultural enhancement.

An MS Team Meeting with Freshmen International Students of the Graduate School of Business and Advanced technology Management hosted jointly by the Dean of the Faculty and the Director of the Office of International Affairs was held on Friday, July 23, 2021 between 13:30 and 14:30 hrs.
Encouraged by the Assumption University of Thailand’s President Rector Magnificus to inculcate good relations between the students and the University, the meeting fulfilled the objectives of informing the students about the University’s International education policy, to update them about the Faculty’s academic services and programs and to update them about the situation of the COVID 19 Pandemic in Thailand.

An MS Team Meeting with Freshmen International Students of the Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology hosted jointly by the Dean of the Faculty and the Director of the Office of International Affairs was held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 between 17:00 to 18:00 hrs.
Encouraged by the Assumption University of Thailand’s President Rector Magnificus to foster good relations between the students and the University, the meeting carried the objectives of informing the students about the University’s International education policy, to update them about the Faculty’s academic services and programs and to update them about the situation of the COVID 19 Pandemic in Thailand. The Q&A session following the presentation was lively and yielded some very good impressions among the students.

Fostering Good Relations with Nursing Freshmen Students
An MS Team Meeting with Freshmen International Students of the Bernadette Lourdes School of Nursing Science hosted jointly by the Dean of the Faculty and the Director of the Office of International Affairs was held on Friday, July 16, 2021 between 16:00 to 17:00 hrs.
The meeting was suggested by the Assumption University of Thailand’s President Rector Magnificus to foster good relations between the students and the University, and carried the objectives of Informing the students about the University’s International education policy, to update them about the Faculty’s academic services and programs and to update them about the situation of the COVID 19 Pandemic in Thailand.
The Guest Resource Speaker at the event was Dr. John Barnes, Senior Lecturer in the Graduate School of Hospitality and Tourism.
