Marking the 325th Anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres, the grand mass was conducted to celebrate the auspicious occasion at Assumption Cathedral, Bangkok on February 16, 2021.

The ceremonial mass celebrating such momentous milestone of the outstanding foundation was presided by His Eminence Cardinal Francis Xavier Kriengsak Kovithavanij which was also participated by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus of Assumption University of Thailand.

Assumption University is an international community of scholars, enlivened by Christian inspiration, engaged in the pursuit of truth and knowledge, serving the human society, especially through the creative use of interdisciplinary approaches and cybertechnology.

The University is a non-profit institution administered by the Brothers of St. Gabriel, a worldwide Catholic religious order, founded in France in 1705 by St. Louis Marie De Montfort, devoted to education and philanthropic activities. The congregation has been operating many educational institutions in Thailand since 1901.

The Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres
was founded by Father Louis Chauvet in 1696 at Levesville-la-Chenard, France. Comprising a group of dedicated Catholic nuns, the foundation has been noted for its outstanding contributions to the education, health, nursing services & causes and established in Thailand since 1898; currently with 22 schools and 6 hospitals or nursing homes.
