In the related development, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, in his capacity as the Advisor of the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand Under the Patronage of  H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (APHEIT) and Mr. Vrong Chinvanthananond, Chair, APHEIT Public Relations Committee, joined other APHEIT Board Committees in presenting bouquet of flowers in front of the Princess portrait at Sahathai Samakom Pavillion, at the Grand Palace, on January 15, 2021, at 11.00 hrs. expressing sincere wishes for H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s speedy recovery from her current ailments.

The APHEIT was officially founded on November 18, 1977 and graciously accepted by H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to be under Her Royal Patronage on August 26, 2015. The APHEIT was established with the following major objectives:

1. Cooperation and Support for unity and better relationships between the Private Higher Education Institutions and other existing Higher Education Institutions.
2. Cooperation in rending academic advice to the government and other governmental sectors or organizations.
3. Providing Academic Cooperation and Coordination, management tactics and governance among the Private Higher Education Institutions for higher standards and academic achievements.
4. Support in academic researches & analysis projects for public distribution & greater benefits and results.
5. Increase the prestige and standards of Private Higher Education Institutions for much better credits and trust among the general public.
6. Publicize the overall activities and latest developments of the Private Higher Education Institutions for better public awareness and academic circles.
7. Contact and coordination and providing advice or assistance to other academic institutions, local or international business sectors for better educational benefits and management.
8. Providing helpful advice or suggestions to individuals interested in furthering education in the Higher Education Institutions.
9. Providing any other appropriate services in realizing the above mentioned overall objectives:
