The Management Team of Assumption University of Thailand (AU) participated in the online seminar under the topic: “Workforce development sharing and learning for excellent organizations” (การแบ่งปันเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาบุคลากรสนับสนุนการพัฒนาคุณภาพองค์กร) on February 18, 2022 that was organized by Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation strongly supports and encourages the implementation of Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) in the higher educational organizations to ensure that the quality standards of Thailand’s education are on par and accepted in the global scale. Currently, many universities have been implementing this framework in their academic operations. To enhance their understanding of the framework, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) decided to organize the online seminar “Workforce development sharing and learning for excellent organizations” within which Thai universities shared their experiences in using EdPEx and learned from others.

The objectives of the online seminar:

1. To enrich the effectiveness in implementing EdPEx framework to develop higher educational organizations.
2. To establish sharing and learning space among supporting units for EdPEx implementation
3. To enhance the effectiveness of operational processes of supporting units according to the EdPEx criteria
4. To build connections among higher educational organizations that are implementing the EdPEx framework.

A72 Room, Assumption Hall Hua Mak Campus	Wiset Si Samut Room, CL Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus

The supporting units of Assumption University in both Hua Mak Campus and Suvarnabhumi Campus participated in the online seminar to increase their understanding of the EdPEx criteria.

Assumption University has been implementing the EdPEx framework among the AU supporting units to sustain the effectiveness of the operational processes in order to improve the AU graduate production that corresponds to the market needs in the present and in the future. To do so, Office of Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance organized the workshop on Introduction to EdPEx Training on October 8, 2021 and the EdPEx Workshop for Support Units : How to Write an Organizational Profile (OP) on November 22, 2021.
